My Work & Travel experience in the United States was one of the most beautiful and valuable adventures of my life. The program gave me the chance to become more independent, learn new things, and meet people from all around the world.
The job I had was a great opportunity to learn how to navigate a dynamic environment and communicate with different guests every day. Although many people say that the best part of Work & Travel is the travel at the end, but for me the most meaningful memories will always be those four months spent working. That’s where I connected with the people I saw every day, coworkers who quickly became close friends with whom I shared both exhaustion and laughter, good and hard moments, and with whom I went out and had fun after work.
Those friendships, energy, those small everyday moments you share with the same people that’s what I will remember the most and what made this whole experience truly special.
